TRULY ONE OF THE OLDEST HOMES IN ST MARYS. THE PRATT GILLICAN HOME IS A BEAUTIFULLY RESTORED CIRCA 1807. HOME IN THE HEART OF ST MARYS HISTORIC DISTRICT. THIS HOME KNOWN AS THE CANNONBALL HOME WAS ORIGINALLY A STUDY FOR HORACE PRATT, THE MINISTER OF THE FIRST PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH IN ST MARYS AND WAS LOCATED ON THE ORANGE HALL PROPERTY. THE HOME WAS HIT BY A CANNONBALL DURING THE CIVIL WAR AND THE DAMAGE IS STILL SEEN TODAY! THIS HISTORIC HOME HAS A TRADITIONAL WRAP AROUND PORCH AND 12 FOOT CEILINGS. IT IS THOUGHT THAT THE HOME WAS MOVED TO ITS CURRENT LOCATION AROUND 1826. ORIGINAL CROWN MOLDING AND HEART PINE FLOORS ARE SOME OF THE MANY FEATURES STILL SURVIVING. ONLY A 5 BLOCK WALK TO THE WATER FRONT.
